I liked how this cover conveys separation and longing. The colors feel a bit muted to me, but I love the image.

I like the flowers growing through the title. They remind me of cosmos, flowers that grew wild in the Korean countryside of my childhood.

Covers I’d rather avoid

• photos of people’s faces, photos generally

• the novel is set in Korea, so I’m open to Korean themes/images, but I’d like to avoid images that (in my opinion) overly exoticize aspects of Asian culture (a tricky balance, I know!)
